Eastern Apostolic Church
We appreciate your interest in the canonical tradition of the Holy Eastern Orthodox Catholic Church.  The following are requirements that we will need from you in order to become part of our worldwide Synod:

Section I:  We will need your web site address, your location details, church name and postal address, as well as a Curriculum Vitae or Résumé from you or the presiding hierarch.

Section II:  In line with Synod requirements, please attend to each one of the following criteria:
  • 1. "Each entity (Jurisdiction) demonstrates their valid or legitimate apostolic succession beyond reasonable doubt; that is, the claim to Apostolic Succession must be evidenced via documents and/or publications that are verifiable."
-> Please submit relevant documentation to this requirement and write a short narrative in support of your claim.
  • 2. "Each entity demonstrates that it is engaged in viable and public ministries”:
-> Please list all your dependencies, ministries, churches, including all priests, pastors, clergy and monastics serving under your Omophor.
  • 3. "Each entity demonstrates competence and professionalism in its own church polity consistent with Orthodox doctrine and Canons”:
          (a) credibility as evidenced by academic or equivalent credentials;
-> Please submit all documents of your credentials, such as diplomas, degrees, including theological education or training
          (b) ethical church polity consistent with Orthodox Christian values; 
-> Please make a signed statement of your faith and ethics.
          (c) conciliatory tenets congruent with the Synod;
-> Please make a signed statement of your polity.
         (d) Orthodox teaching and practice of the Seven Ecumenical Councils and subsequent theology.
-> Please submit a confession of faith. 
  • 4. "Each entity shows stability in its history and administration”:
-> Please compose a short narrative, highlighting the founding and history of your particular jurisdiction.
